What is a Reading Retreat?

Imagine sinking into a plush sofa, your favorite book in hand, with a warm cup of tea by your side, all while being surrounded by kindred spirits who share your love for literature. Our retreats are all about creating a welcoming environment where you can unwind, explore new stories, and forge lasting friendships. 

This is your journey, and we want you to feel right at home. Although we will have many activities to choose from, no activity is mandatory—this is a choose-your-own-adventure type of trip. We're here to provide a beautiful place to stay, delicious food to eat, and hopefully, a community where you can make lifelong friends.

  • Our book retreats are designed for passionate readers—aka book girlies—who crave a cozy yet enriching getaway with fellow literary lovers.

  • The minimum age requirement is 21 years old. The average age of our retreat guests ranges from 25-45.

  • We want our retreats to be as accessible as possible. At checkout, you will have the option to pay with Klarna which will set up a payment plan for eligible customers.

  • Yes and yes! We offer 3 booking options: Solo Room, Shared Room, and Shared Bed.

  • No, all bookings are final but they are transferable. We will let you know if we have a waitlist and do everything in our power to find someone to take your place but ultimately it is up to you to find someone to take your spot.
